Aetna will make a $300 grant to any eligible organization at which an employee or retiree volunteers 20 hours or more each year. Their Matching Gift program provides up to $5,000 to support a donation to a qualifying nonprofit. For more information, please visit www.aetna-foundation.org.

The Apache Matching Gift Program is an essential part of an effective community outreach program. In 2010, Apache and its employees donated a total of $703,149 in matching gift funds. Apache matches employee contributions to charitable organizations on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to $10,000 per employee per year until the annual match budget is depleted. The program matches donations to charitable organizations in social welfare, education, conservation and ecology, health and human services, arts and culture, and civic improvements. The Baker Hughes Foundation makes contributions to tax-exempt organizations qualified under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Grants are awarded to eligible, non-profit organizations with priority given to charities that improve the social conditions in locations where we have strong employee presence. Contributions are generally made to organizations that target improvements in social sectors supporting education, health, youth, and culture. Additionally, through the Matching Gifts Program, the Baker Hughes Foundation matches contributions made by eligible employees to non-profit organizations and accredited academic institutions. BP’s Fabric of America Fund program is a tangible way for US employees to engage personally and make a difference in their communities. Under the program, employees in communities across the country can request that BP America make a contribution to a nonprofit organization. Halliburton employees in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Australia proudly pledge money toward the charities they hold dear every year. Halliburton absorbs administrative fees to support the campaign, and approved charities are matched with a 10 percent contribution by the company. KBR KBR’s Community Matters (CM) is an on-line employee giving program that makes it simple to contribute to the causes that are important to you. Once you make your donation or pay your pledge, KBR will match 100% of your eligible donations, up to an accumulated annual maximum of $10,000, and absorb all of the administrative costs. That way, your donations are actually worth more. At present, all full-time regular employees in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia Asia Pacific and Canada are eligible to participate. Microsoft matching gifts program matches U.S. employees' direct cash and software donations up to $12,000 annually to thousands of eligible 501(c)(3) and educational institutions. Shell HERO Program
Through the Shell HERO program, we support employee and pensioner gifts to select nonprofit agencies and schools throughout the U.S. and extend the reach of our personal and corporate giving. By matching employee and pensioner gifts, donor and company resources are leveraged for maximum community benefit.

Shell will provide a 1:1 match up to a maximum match of $5,500 per donor per calendar year for the HERO open giving program. The minimum gift is $25. For more information, please visit Shell.
