2009 Barnard Foundation Matching Fund Drive
The Barnard Foundation has graciously provided a grant of $7,500. If DROH receives general donations of $15,000 between October 25 and December 31, Barnard Foundation will match these donations with a second $7,500 grant, for a total matching grant of $15,000. This will help many dachshunds in need both this year and in 2010. Please make a donation today using the button below, and know that it ultimately counts twice! December 21 update: THANK YOU!!! With your generosity we have met the Barnard Foundation challenge and will be receiving an additional $7,500 from the Foundation. But the need is still great. Every dollar we raise is a dollar that will be spent saving more doxies from terrible fates. Just this week, we have had requests to take in 7 dogs from shelters in the Houston area...sweet doxies who may be heartworm positive and who may have never known any human kindness. The Barnard Foundation challenge has been met, but the challenge to rescue more dachshunds still exists. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation.
